Accent bias is whereby a person may be treated differently due to their accent when speaking. Why does this happen? This complex topic needs an expert speaker to guide us through so we are delighted to have Reg Amoah join us as we explore how accent bias impacts people.

Reg is an EDI professional who has experience across a wide range of sectors including legal, media, architecture and local social housing. His work includes helping organisations develop and implement D&I strategies, establishing programmes to support under-represented groups and delivering training sessions to increase awareness and drive change. He has worked with schools and colleges to promote how to teach subjects and courses more inclusively through referencing more diverse range of sources and contribution to areas of study.
